Training is delivered at both purpose-built campuses, in state-of-the-art classrooms, and in the workplace.

Supporting Future Talent

Our 4,000 plus 16-18-year-old students are gaining academic and technical training, but also the skills they need to hit the ground running when they start work. Good news for businesses.

We educate young people from every background, helping them build on their potential and begin rewarding careers. Over 2,000 employers are involved in our future talent programme, providing work experience, helping deliver our T-Levels and traineeships, and sharing insights. By joining the scheme, you can make a social contribution to the region, but also get a head-start on future recruitment. Our dedicated team will oversee the arrangements for all placements, making sure they fit your business needs.

Developing Your Workforce

We run pre-employment training programmes and inductions as well as bespoke packages to re-skill or up-skill current members of staff. They can all help you create a more effective workforce.

We are registered regional and national provider of industry Bootcamp training and offer flexible, cost-effective programmes that can be delivered across multiple platforms. You can make use of our Professional Learning Academy or our virtual learning environment (e-learning). Or you might like us to deliver training in your workplace. We can even do a mix. In addition to the training itself, our Commercial and Business Development Team can do business reviews, give recruitment advice and perform learning needs analyses.

Funding & Business Services

The College for Business brings together intelligence, training and funding expertise that can help your organisation grow. We also work with key stakeholders to attract investment in training and education.

By working closely with Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and the Education and Skills Funding Agency, we’re able to deliver innovative training programmes including Skills Bootcamps. We also track labour market trends, offer business support and have college facilities that are open to professionals.

Our dedicated recruitment service allows you to tap into a talent pipeline of over 10,000 students who are ready for employment or to fill apprenticeship vacancies.
